The mountain symbolize thruth, stability and being the point that connects the earth to the sky, or humans to god. The mountain contains a huge amount of information from millions of years ago, and are silently observating eternity. They say "the truth is written in stone".
The gold on the top is a symbol of us being able to make each of our own treassure in whatever we want and, in my case, an action of making my own writing in stone. You are your own golden smith, or "happyness-smith" that they say in Norway. You, and only you can make you happy.
